💙I am SO lucky that I get to do this everyday and I am beyond thankful to you all for opening up your homes to me to help you and your dogs!!! It’s truly the best job in the world!

🥹It’s been a tough year; lots of changes, going through some challenging health issues with Gussy and being busy! But I am so thankful to this community for always being supportive!

🥳Wrapped up our 6 week, Spring Brewery Manners Class this weekend and all the dogs did SO amazing! Check out the last video to see how well they all did!

💙We worked on settling around lots of distractions in a real life brewery environment, greeting people and dogs calmly, navigating in/out/around the brewery, how to prepare for outings like this and so much more!

🐶 Happy graduation day to Maisie and Erika!

💙 I am SO proud of these two! Erika reached out to me for training when she adopted Maisie at the end of last year. Maisie was struggling with overall fear (of people, new sounds, objects, etc). We worked a lot on building the bond between Maisie and Erika, confidence building, and teaching lots of fun skills and games to get her feeling less anxious and more confident! Maisie has come to far and is the brave, confident girlie we always knew she could be!! And is just the best to work with! She’s so patient, did the work, loves Maisie so much and celebrated all the wins!

💪🏼 We just finished round 1 of training with this team and I couldn’t be prouder of them! They’ve come so far, worked so hard and have made so much progress!

🐶 Now we’ll continue to work on their reactivity outside, their stress around meeting new people and lots more!!

🩷 In honor of October 3rd (Mean Girls Day if you didn’t know 😂)

🤔 Ever had this happen to you?! Everyone wants to say hi to your cute dog but your dog gets nervous, scared, overly excited, etc. when people approach them? It happens to a lot of us reactive dog owners!

😔 When really all you want is people to smile and keep on walking by…Here’s the thing, reactivity isn’t about being *mean* (sorry, couldn’t help myself), it’s about feeling overwhelmed with everything going on around them. That can range from anything to fear, frustration, excitement, or any other big feelings!

👉🏼Here are some ways to help advocate for you and your dog.
✅”Sorry, he’s not friendly, please don’t approach us”
✅”Please don’t approach, we need some space.”
✅”Sorry, she/he isn’t comfortable with strangers”
✅”We’re in training, please no petting”
✅”Thanks for asking, but my dog isn’t comfortable”
✅”my dog isn’t friendly with people, please don’t approach”

✅Or you can cross the street and just avoid!
✅A leash, bandana, collar or harness that tells people to stay away.
