******* Your Pets Deserve a Fun Vacay, too!! *******
Ivy and I decided we are opening our home back up for StayOvers!! Just like we had for 17 years! No sooner did we decide this and October filled almost completely up and November has booked dates too!
So if you are planning to go out of town for 1 day or 3 months (!!), reach out to me via [email protected] and we will get your pup(s) or kitty on the calendar.

This works just like my grooming appts did -- One on One (or 1 family at a Stay), no cages, wherever Ivy and I go - your pup comes too! That means walks, pontoon rides, picnics in the yard, snuggles on the couch, even bedtime with me and Ivy. No other furry client will be here during your contracted StayOver. And you know your furbaby will be happy and safe with me!

I'll have a contract for you to sign, a deposit will be put down and that way you know you are locked in for those dates and can make your vacay plans confidently. If someone calls after your contract is signed and deposit is made, I will tell them those dates are full. Just the same as we did when my grooming business was open.

Hello !! How is everyone? And more importantly, how are my furry friends? 🐾🐾
I think I'm finally finding ME again. 😀 It's been a struggle for real. I've begun substituting school at 2 Christian schools near me, and .... I've found an outlet for my creativity which is such a big part of who I am. I'm revamping furniture! Of course not like anyone else does - Lol! I use stain paint and the outcome is vibrant and fun! Right now it's a hobby, but it may very well become a new business venture for Ivy and I.
Take care of yourselves and don't forget me. I'll never forget any one of You ❤️

Brenda’s Pet Sevices Story

I grew up with dogs and cats. They were my confidants, hearing all my secrets and fears. I understood them and they understood me. I have never lived a day without a dog and cat as a part of my family and my household. I began grooming as an owner of a wonderful Shih Tzu that was injured by a cruel groomer. I bought every video and every book on grooming Shih Tzus. I was determined that she would never have to undergo such abuse again. After studying and purchasing my tools, I gave it a try -- my pup looked beautiful! My friends and family began asking me to groom their pets as they too had bad experiences at grooming shops. So I learned different breeds and discovered that I actually had a talent for this craft of grooming. I entered a grooming contest and my talent was confirmed when I won first place and....... well the rest is history!

When I decided to leave the corporate world and open a grooming salon in Barnesville Georgia. I decided to set it up the way I wanted ZsaZsa treated (that Shih Tzu I mentioned earlier). So I set my grooming salon in a true spa environment -- quiet music, softer lighting and one on one attention. I also have no cages and no restraints. Brenda’s Pet Services is a calm and happy place :)

Today, Brenda’s Pet Services is a Full Service Grooming Spa for Dogs under 25 lbs, for all Cats and Birds. I offer monthly Spa Specials as well as Facials, Medicated Wraps, PAWicures, Doggy Tattoos, Feather Extensions, Coloring, Creative Styling, Deep Conditioning and Hot Oil Treatments. I am a member of Creative Grooming Association as well as the National Dog Groomers Association. These are both Professional dog grooming associations.

I now also train new dog groomers on this holistic way to groom dogs and cats. Grooming is about the whole animal, not just their fur. There is no reason for force, or rushing and hurried attitude when grooming. At Brenda’s, dogs and cats learn that grooming is something I do FOR them, not TO them. It’s a difference that you can feel when you first walk in my door.
