📝🐾 Potty Training 101: Creating a Potty Schedule 🐾📝

Hey everyone! If you're working on potty training your furry friend, a consistent potty schedule can make all the difference. Here are some tips to help you set one up:

1. Regular Intervals: Take your puppy outside every 1-2 hours during the day. Young pups need more frequent breaks!

2. After Meals & Naps: Always take your pup out immediately after they eat or wake up. Their little bladders fill up quickly!

3. Before Bedtime: Make sure to take your puppy out right before bedtime to avoid any accidents overnight.

4. Use Cues: Develop a cue word or phrase (like “Go potty!”) so your pup starts associating it with the bathroom routine.

5. Reward System: Praise and reward your puppy right after they go potty outside. Positive reinforcement is key!

6. Watch for Signs: Keep an eye on your puppy's behavior. If they’re sniffing around or circling, it’s time to go out!

🌙🐾 Bedtime looked a little different around here tonight! We're all set up in kennels, learning to cry when it’s time to go outside for potty breaks.

And Chase is being such a big boy, sleeping all by himself in a kennel in my bedroom. 🛏️💤 He heads home tomorrow, and I really hope this helps him adjust!

He’s been such a sweet companion today, following Esther and me around as we tackle our tasks. 🐶💖

It's been a joy having them both here! Looking forward to hearing about home updates from Esther and Chase soon.

Copper at 8 weeks old! 💖 I can't get over those stunning eyes and those adorable ears! Seriously, the ears are my favorite part of a Cavalier!

A little backstory for those who might not know: I named him after the movie “Fox and the Hound” because he reminded me of a little hound puppy with all those cute rolls and the most irresistible puppy dog eyes! 🐶 He’s definitely going to charm his way out of any trouble!

Now, fast forward to today—Copper has found his forever home, and guess what? His new family has hounds too! How adorable is that? 🐾 Not sure if his name will stick, but I can’t wait to see what happens!

Ryder he has the sweetest soul! This baby loves people with his whole heart. When he sees anyone he is so friendly and eager to please. He has dreamy eyes that melts my heart. He is everything a Cavalier should be. A true velcro baby!

Update! Esther has found and made her way to her new home today! So happy for the family and welcome to our cavalier community!

🌟 Photoshoot with Esther today! 🌟 This little diva is all about the glam and loves to be pampered. 💖 She absolutely refused to let her feet touch the ground and just wanted to snuggle up for a nap with our big pups! 😂 I couldn’t stop laughing at her insistence on being carried!

And just a heads up, in the last sleeping photos, please excuse the dog hair—I'm in the middle of washing and drying the babies! 🐾❤️
