Meet Kirby Tucker — my up-and-coming boy I’m so proud of!
He’s the son of Brody (grandson of my foundation boy, Oliver 💙), and he is carrying on the legacy in the best way.

✨ At just 10.5 months old, Kirby is already showing so much promise:
• 26 lbs & 18 inches tall 📏
• Gorgeous, boxy structure with great balance 💪
• Confident, friendly, and absolutely loves people 💛
• Gets along beautifully with other dogs and was so gentle with 4lb Maple! 🐾
• Playful + easygoing
• Upcoming OFAs soon — can’t wait to share results 🩺

I’m so excited to see what the future holds for this boy. Kirby is the total package — structure, temperament, and pedigree all wrapped up in one! 🐶💫

✨💛 A Heartfelt Note About Oliver Jay 💛✨

Every program has that one dog who changes everything—who sets the tone, builds the foundation, and makes you proud with every single litter. For me, that boy is Oliver Jay. 🐾

He’s been the heart of my program from the very beginning. His lines are strong, consistent, and nothing short of incredible. He stamps his babies with not just beautiful structure, but the sweetest, most people-focused temperaments that truly make them unforgettable.

As much as it makes my heart ache to even write this… I’m planning to retire Oliver Jay in 2026 when he turns 6 years old. 🥺 That means our time with him as a stud is limited, and every pairing between now and then feels that much more special.

If you’ve ever dreamed of adding Oliver Jay’s magic to your program, now is the time. Don’t miss out on these once-in-a-lifetime lines—you’ll thank yourself for it later.

✨ Let’s Talk: What Makes an Ethical Breeder? ✨

There are so many opinions out there on what “ethical breeding” really means. Some people say it’s all about health testing, others say it’s about how puppies are raised, and some focus on breeder support after puppies go home.

We are thrilled to share that our boy Whiskey Wallen just received EXCELLENT hip prelims from OFA! 🏆
For those who don’t know, Excellent is the highest rating possible!! This means Whiskey has some of the best hip structure you can get, setting the bar high for health, longevity, and athleticism. He’s quite the athlete!! 💪

Healthy hips = happy, active doodles for years to come! We are beyond proud of him and can’t wait to see the next generation benefit from his stellar genetics.

🐾✨ Meet the Newest Southern Doodle Boy ✨🐾

Everyone, say hello to Moose 🫎 Wilder! This little heartthrob was born July 7, 2025, weighing in at 12.3 ounces. He’s a Mini Chocolate Merle Phantom Goldendoodle with a tender hearted personality just as stunning as his coat.

Moose may be tiny now, but he’s destined for big things in our program. With his beautiful markings, soulful eyes, and sweet temperament, I know he’s going to turn heads and melt hearts everywhere he goes. He’s already a total cuddle bug!

We’ve got a sweet new addition to the Southern Doodle Boys lineup…

🍫✨ A MINI CHOCOLATE MERLE PHANTOM GOLDENDOODLE! ✨🍫

Y’all… I can’t even with this one 😍
We’ve officially added a mini chocolate Merle phantom Goldendoodle to the crew and he is CUTE-CUTE. Like… melt-your-heart, snuggle-him-all-day cute. 🐶🍫

He’s got the silky coat, a gorgeous Merle pattern (I think he’s harlequin but will need to test his merle length) the phantom points, and alllll the sweetness. Small in size but coming in HOT with the looks and charm — this little dude is gonna make some serious waves in our program. 🌊🔥

📌 Let’s Talk: What Makes a Responsible Breeder in 2025? 🐾

Breeding dogs isn’t just about pairing two cute pups and hoping for the best. It’s an intentional, ethical process that requires education, patience, and standards.

If you’re new to breeding—or even if you’ve been at it a while—here are a few things that define a responsible, reputable breeder:

✅ Health Testing is Non-Negotiable
Embark, OFA and/or PennHIP aren’t “nice to haves”they’re a must. Know your dog’s genetic risks before passing them on.

✅ Temperament Matters Much more than Looks
A well-mannered dog with sound nerves and a stable temperament will serve their families far better than just a pretty face.

✅ Structure = Longevity
Understanding conformation prevents joint issues, injuries, and discomfort later in life. Know the breed standard or desired type.

✅ Purposeful Pairings
Don’t just “try it and see.” Breed with a goal in mind: improving structure, coat, size, temperament, or genetic diversity.

✅ Education & Mentorship
No one knows it all—get involved in mentorships, clubs, and conversations that keep you evolving.

Goldendoodles come in 4 main sizes, Whether you’re a fan of purse-sized pups or big teddy bears, there’s a Doodle for everyone!

🐾 Petite: Under 15 lbs – tiny, adorable, and perfect for laps.
🐾 Mini: 15–30 lbs – small but sturdy, great for smaller homes!
🐾 Medium: 30–45 lbs – the “just right” size for many families.
🐾 Standard: 45+ lbs – big lovebugs with teddy bear energy.
