Hello everyone. I wanted to address something that has been happening a lot more frequently as of late.
I truly value each and every one of my clients and work hard to accommodate everyone’s grooming needs. As a small business, missed appointments and no-shows have a significant impact on my schedule. I work one-on-one with the dogs that I groom in order to reduce stress and time between drop off and pickup. This also means I dont have a lineup of dogs waiting to be groomed. So if you do not show up for your appointment, I am left to shuffle appointments or waiting for the next dog to show up. I book 6-10 appointments a day so there isn't much room to work them in later without taking away from another scheduled appointment.
A no-show appointment is classified as a client has not arrived within 15 minutes of their appointment time. This is because most dogs take the full appointment time in order to provide breaks, detangle etc. A no-show appointment will be responsible for the full cost of the scheduled service that day.
I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen, and I appreciate communication as soon as possible. If you need go reschedule, I ask if you can give 24hrs notice or as soon as possible so I can offer the spot to someone on the waitlist.
