🐐 Meet Phillip. Part-time goat, full-time escape artist.

Phillip is an ornery little gentleman who accepts any challenge that involves thwarting confinement. Fences? Suggestions, really. Boundaries? Open to interpretation. If there’s a way out, Phillip would very much like to find it. 😂

The good news? Phillip is recently up to date on his vaccines and ready to start his next adventure!

He’s looking for an experienced, patient human who understands that goats have their own ideas about how life should work. Someone with the knowledge, setup, and determination.

Think you’re up for the challenge? Phillip would like to interview you. Preferably by testing your fencing first. 😉

You may have read this article in last week's Volunteer Bulletin, but we are so excited by the work Nelsonville Community TNR & Rescue is doing, that we wanted to post it to our blog as well. If you missed it, you can read the full post linked below.

Please follow and support NCTNR! Jade Mourn, the org's founder, is making a huge difference in her community, and she can't do it alone. Trap-Neuter-Return can feel like an uphill battle in areas overrun with feral cats (like Nelsonville). Each female cat spayed represents up to 100 kittens saved from lives of hunger and disease. When we band together, we can make the kind of change that impacts generations.

Captain came to us with her siblings, tiny and terrified. With time, patience, and love, her view of the world has started to change.

Thank you to everyone in animal welfare who has dedicated their time and heart to changing lives. Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give an animal is the chance to see the world a little differently.

This community member is able to keep the mother and father of the kittens (and has them scheduled for spay and neuter procedures 👏), but they're looking for homes for these sweet babies.
