“Stay Hooked Cowgirl”

It’s easy to say, you know coming from a girl who has it all...and by all I mean a decent work ethic, a big dream and a hard head.

But really, just stay hooked.

You want to move to the highest position in your career? Stay hooked. Go for it, show you can handle it.

You want to be the most bad ass horse woman there is? Stay hooked, study the people who whip you at every jackpot, take care of your horse, and do it.

You want to be the best spouse in the world? Stay hooked. Going after your dream while being a loving spouse is tough. There is no playbook. It takes a special kind of man to stand with a badass woman, don’t settle.

You will get knocked off track, some s**t head horse or some s**t head man will make you question your worth. Learn your lesson and move on, don’t take it with you but don’t forget who made you feel that way.

It’s not going to be easy. It’s not going to happen quickly. Most likely, it won’t be big rewards, and cool fireworks. It’s going to look like a lot of late nights, even more tear soaked pillows, and most importantly, a LOT, and I do mean A LOT, of people at each ledge to stick their hand out and say “Here, let me help you”, because staying hooked is really REALLY hard, and exhausting, and down right painful, but just remember, an ugly caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly, and butterflies eat s**t, too.

So whatever it is, just stay hooked, because it’s never over, and you’ll get there. ✌️

Just want to take a second and shout out Harper & Pistol (my new Harper lol) .

She’s only been here with me face to face training for 3 weeks and I changed ALOT on her but she went out Sat, locked in and killed it ! Mind you this kid has another sport volleyball that she does during the week and gets all her schooling done and still finds time to come and train and ride most of the time daily if not every other day.

I told her no matter what I was going to be proud, but to say the least, I was screaming like a little kid watching her make this run seeing all the pieces coming together and her her horse looks so clean during the run. I can’t wait to see where these two take it !!!

Different set up at this pen so this time was fire 🔥 she really came in and worked amazing in the ground and was so good tonight walked up and down the alley and everything. This girl is really coming along!!! We had some salty riders so by the end of the race this landed us in the 3D crack with her being off from having cellulitis.

Harper and ET working on his waiting for her, he tends to try to get ahead of her on the barrels so I threw something different at him so he had to wait and listen for her as we kept switch up the pattern lay out . Harper really has put the work in with this horse I am so proud of her as a rider 💙
