Everyone, please say hello to this sweet little Buffalo!♥️ Ten days ago Buffalo came to us from a lovely couple who had found her dumped on their property. Despite wrestling a buffalo chicken sandwich from one of her kind rescuers, they recognized this baby was far too sweet to be a feral cat. They came to us, looking for the best way to ensure she gets proper care, so we made plans to welcome another fuzzy buddy! Our little lady is not very fond of other cats, but thanks to some rearrangements, sweet Buffy is adjusting so well, with her own personal space to relax. As you can see, she’s very comfortable napping on her own!🥹 Buffy is currently awaiting spay, but we don’t think she’ll mind staying with us a little while longer. She the absolute sweetest girl, and adores anyone who will appease her appetite for snuggles, or buffalo chicken! 😂 If you would like to help with the costs associated with housing our rescues, or the veterinary care they receive, we would all be very grateful! We are a very small scale rescue group, with limited resources, so the support of our community means everything to us! We are currently still sitting on payments for previous treatments and emergency care, as well as seeking to make improvements for our residents. With so much work to always be done, posting is limited, but we have more updates to come! Thanks so much for checking us out, we appreciate your support! ☺️ Happy early Thanksgiving from everyone here at Fuzzy Buddies! 🦃 🧡

You may have seen our recent posts, regarding the poor girl in the photo below. Presumably a pit mix, discovered off State Route 46, she was found hit, and left by the side road. Thanks to some very kind people, she has found her way into the care of the ANNA Shelter, in Erie, Pennsylvania. They have so graciously taken her in, as they have for many other animals, taking on ALL financial and medical responsibility. Unfortunately, our rescue felt it was best to remove our former posts, as repetitive comments caused confusion and misunderstanding. We have made several edits, to several posts, every single day since they have been posted. This is not what we spend our resources and effort on at Fuzzy Buddies. It is our goal to support any and every animal in need, always. However, we recognize that when that message seems to have been lost, it is time for us to take a step back. We hope to still inspire those who share in our mission to show love in any way you can! You can find ANNA Shelter right here on Facebook, and see some of the adorable fuzzy buddies that they care for, AND are currently looking for their fur-ever homes! If you would like to donate, all information will be included below! BUT, please keep in mind, spreading the word and showing some love helps too! We thank all those involved in the rescue of this sweet girl, and any animal in need, and strive to support in the ways we are able to. Thanks for checking us out, show ANNA some love for us! ☺️

Hello, everyone! Checking in with a much needed update. Stormie and Sunnie are doing so well! Everyday, they look a little less like fuzzy, little kitties, and more like grown, cozy, catties. They are out of quarantine, and mingling well with the others. Unfortunately, they are still very wary of people, and hide from us most of the time. If I find them cozied in for the night, they do occasionally let me sneak in a small pet, sometimes without even hissing! 🙂 In all seriousness, they are absolutely all hiss, and no bite. Not even a bap, actually. What is most important to us is that they are safe, and cared for- even if they don't care for us. We have two new intakes, as well! Miranda is such a sweet girl! Fully up to date on her shots, and spayed, she is also settling in very nicely. She is absolutely loving the attention she's been getting. Gory, the tiny menace, is still very young, at approximately 5 weeks old. Her mother had left her on her caretaker's back porch, and disappeared- which was very unlike her. After the kitten had been left without mom for almost a full day, being so young, we all felt it was necessary to ensure the wellbeing of the kitten. Fortunately, it seems she was already in the process of being weaned, and, as she showed much more interest in cat food over milk, we have begun introducing it. We're just glad that we could settle for her wet food mix, and not the hard food she was almost willing to fight for. We have been told that, after several days, Gory's mother did return, and was very hungry. Hearing this, we are HOPING to make arrangements for her care, which may be difficult based on her demeanor. We hope to reunite the kitten with a very vital role model in her life, keeping in mind that working with truly feral cats is extremely difficult. Gory will see the vet this week, and Miranda is due for a checkup as well! Sunnie and Stormie are still due to be fixed, but fortunately I have found a more afforable option. The approximate cost, for BOTH cats, is around $150. Which, is very much appreciated after their intial, almost $700, vet visit. These are the animals we have taken in, just in the past month, and does not include all of the animals we already care for, that I would absolutely love to tell you all about, but we would be here for a long time. If you would like to help in any way at all, we always need wet cat food, dry cat food, toys, hides, and blankets. Thanks for checking us out, and be sure to check back in soon! We have more updates to come!

The kittens went to the vet today!… And needed snuggles after. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 We can’t blame them, they got a lot of poking done! They are officially named! DRUMROLL ONGOING!? Please say hello toooo… SUNNIE AND STORMIE! ♥️ They’re settling in better than we expected, and they love laying in front of the air vents, taking in all the heat. They’re in good health, and Stormie’s ear wound will heal up just fine, now that the ear mites that had her scratching are treated, and she had an injection of antibiotics to clear up any infection. All tests are done and negative (good thing), and all vaccines are done… for NOW. We are currently exploring options for their spay and neuter, so if you know of any reputable, affordable clinics, please let us know! If you have any old kitty trees, food, litter, or toys that you’re willing to donate, please reach out. Check out the buddies on our page, and keep an eye on it, because we have an adorable update coming soon!! 👀☺️

Please say hello to Henrietta! 🥹♥️ This gorgeous little lady is looking for a new home that’s able to keep her in the solitude and peace she needs. Henrietta’s current owner adopted her in February, and her last visit to the vet was in March. Henrietta is almost 7 years old, is spayed, and is in good health! She is on wet food (with a topper, twice daily) because she does have a problem with bolting food (eating too quickly). She does not do well with other cats, and absolutely cannot be housed with another. It’s unsure if she does well with dogs or kids, but in her current home with adults, and with any people visitors, Henrietta is the sweetest little girl. She loves to watch tv, snuggle, play, and pose for absolutely stunning photos! Henrietta does require a rehoming fee, feel free to ask if you are interested! Our messages are ALWAYS open for any questions, so reach out! Henrietta is excited to hear from you, and she askes that you share this post! Thanks for checking us out! 😽

Three days ago, we saw a post in a local animal rehoming group asking if anyone had kittens available. In the comment section of that post, someone mentioned kittens, staying around a certain dollar store in the Jefferson - Rock Creek area. Later in the day, in another group, there was another mention of the same area, and what must be the same stray kittens. That seemed like enough of a nudge. We decided to take a small trip, and see what we could do to help. The amazing employees, who had been caring for the babies, some kind donations that kept them fed, and over 10 hours of rescue time have put an end to their life in the cold. While we’re sure their raccoon friend, Fred, will miss them very much, we’re sure all involved are very relieved these fuzzy buddies will be out of the cold and rain from now on. We want to shout out the absolutely amazing employee, who was dedicated to helping these sweets get taken care of, and the manager, who 100% made it all possible. We cannot thank you enough. They are in need of basic veterinary care, which they will be getting, and they will be fostered with us until they can find their furever homes. We are currently looking for any staples for kitty cats, any old kennels, live traps, or cages anyone may be willing to donate, and any help you’re willing to give. Feel free to pm us! Thanks for checking us out. 😊

Hello, We are Fuzzy Buddies Rescue and Rehoming! Better known to those around us as Gabby and James. We’ve spent our recent years taking care of animals in any way we can, and we have recently decided to take on a little more, in ambitions to one day own and operate a shelter of our own. We are extremely small scale on our own, having so many, already established, furry residents. BUT, we know there are loving homes, more than willing to take in the rescues that we will be able to help heal, AND we feel that we owe it to do our part to connect animals in need of homes, to those who would love to love them. We’re always looking for connections, advice, and any help you’re willing to give. We currently have two successful rescues, now fosters, we are providing veterinary care for, as well as hopes to help solve a very special stray situation, and find homes for some very special kitties. Thanks for checking up on us. 😊
