Update on our 12 little saplings! All are doing great thus far. The smallest little girl, Aspen has had some trouble with feeding. Being the runt that’s sometimes expected but she’s holding her own. She got syringe fed through the night. Today is a new day and this girl is a fighter. Thank you to everyone who’s donated to this litter and their needs. They are expensive little creatures and deserve the best we can give to them. Because of our gracious supporters we are able to do what we do. It’s long, hard work but they’re worth it! Thank you!!!

If you’re local, you may have something that would help us without costing you anything. Sometimes people have an excess of disposable bed pads from elderly patients for various reasons. If you happen to have some that you would like to clear out, please let us know. They would be very useful for our bottle babies. Thank you!

Some of you may have seen where I said that there were actually thirteen puppies, but one had died before we got there leaving twelve.

The universe apparently thought we had been shorted and really needed thirteen yesterday because little Jeffy was found abandoned last night and joined us too. Paddy has taken over puppy sitting duties. ❤️

We just got an update on the puppies from Becky at 9am. We’re cautiously optimistic that they’re going to make it! 🙌

“Well at 3:30 am they got a bottle and ate an entire can of Royal Canin Starter. Then they went to sleep on the heating pad. They’re waking up now for breakfast. They look like they’ve grown overnight!”
