Unfortunately we lost Gibby (the critical surrender) last night. We only had him for a few days but oh was he so so loved.

His previous previous owner (not the neglectful one) loved him so much and had him for most of his life, she sent us these beautiful pictures of him In his prime.


We are glad we are able to share some happy memories of him.

He will be so missed.

Update

The vet was impressed with Gibby’s attitude and his willingness to live and fight.

He is currently completely blind and we are applying antibiotic ointment to his eyes, hopefully he will get vision back in at least one eye.

We are syringe feeding daily in hopes to get him to gain some weight so the vet can do bloodwork. As of now he is not stable enough.

We are going to take this day by day, but there is some hope ❤️
