I just have the best clients! So here I am sharing.
Everyone one of them either shows up to their lessons or comes to watch their horse in training with such a joy and excitement that I just love. I get such great feedback from them all and the happiness that shows up in their voice or on their faces just gives me such encouragement to keep doing what I can for them and what I love. It just makes sharing my passion that much more enjoyable.
I have those really fun clients that want to hit the show pen and the excitement they have and hard work they put in for that, just puts me over the top excited to coach them and train the horses. I just get a kick out of encouraging them all the way to the gate, I pray and hold my breath as they perform in their classes and then I'm right there at the gate waiting to congratulate them for getting out there in front of everyone no matter how the ride went.
Then I have clients like the one who brought me these beautiful flowers on her lesson day. She is a young gal I've been teaching for just under 3 years now. When her family first moved here, I was contacted by her parents for riding lessons. With her being new to town, she didn't have any friends and the move had been a hard one. I started working with her and her passion for the horses and learning from the start was so amazing. Through the lessons, she was able to learn the path God was showing her for her life.
One day I was told by her mom, that I had played a major role in her daughter's life, they were so grateful for this. It just melted my heart and choked me up. I never imagined that my business would change someones life. All I did was stayed open to God using me. So due to all that she had learned that she was to go to college to become a Large Animal Veterinarian. She just completed her first year and is now home for summer break.
I know she will make an incredible veterinarian. She is so smart, learns so fast and has the biggest heart. I feel so blessed to be working with this young gal and I look forward to each holiday and summer break when I can work with her.
She is going to be my intern for the summer because she is becoming such a wonderful friend, she's an amazing human and the more hands on work she gets with the horses will just make her an even better human and Veterinarian.
