✨ Story time… meet Poppy ✨
Poppy is our 3-month-old black tortie Maine C**n, and despite her tiny size, this girl has already packed a whole lifetime of adventure into just a few short months.
Originally, Poppy was the second pick of her litter. Her future family was absolutely smitten and counting down the days until pickup. She passed all her testing with flying colors, was wonderfully socialized, and quickly became known for her playful, curious little personality.
Then life threw a curveball. Due to unexpected family circumstances, her family sadly couldn’t move forward with bringing home a Maine C**n. So sweet little Poppy stayed with us, waiting for her perfect match.
Well… apparently Poppy decided waiting around was too boring. 🤦♀️
In true tortie fashion, she took curiosity to a whole new level and decided she wanted to explore the world of sewing… except instead of learning how to sew, she swallowed the thread. 😳😭
After one very long, very stressful weekend, Poppy is now safely at the vet having the thread removed. Thankfully, she is in the capable hands of our trusted friend and amazing vet team, and we fully expect this spicy little girl to make a full recovery. 🩵
