Cataristocrat Small in-home Oriental Shorthair & Siamese Cattery located in Ohio 44805 Welcome indeed to my site.

My name is Olga, and I am the founder of the Cattery «CatAristocrat». I established my small cattery in 2010 and registered it with the World Cat Federation (WCF) and later with The International Cat Association (TICA.). I breed Oriental cats at the highest standards to produce the best cats possible. I have decided to concentrate our activity on solid Oriental shorthair cats. Our cats live with

us as family members, are fed the world renowned cat food and are vaccinated as per recommendations. Experienced vets, whom we may contact 24/7, care for and vaccinate them. At home they enjoy the most favourable environment to develop properly, including scratching posts, toys and houses. Whether sluggish or tireless, our little hellions will find their needs met and will be able to express their own character.

I just found out that my photo of a 6-day-old Oriental kitten was nominated for Picture of the Year 2024 on Wikimedia Commons — in the Mammals category — and it actually took 27th place!

You can see it here:

The competition was really strong — so many beautiful and artistic photos of animals in the wild.
Honestly, I didn’t even know my photo was nominated until I stumbled upon it. What a nice surprise!

I see a whole bunch of scum got all stirred up over my post about cargo shipping.
Hmmmm…. There weren’t even this many comments on the post about that breeder in Youngstown whose cats were seized by animal control. How did it happen that (here could be her name) — a geneticist, a university professor, and a member of the Eastern Breeds Committee at TICA — became the subject of a post showing litter boxes absolutely full of s**t? Maybe she was afraid that rotten people would start judging her when her problems were only just beginning. Or maybe she’s just the same as they are — all clever talk and lecturing others about how to live, while at home everything was a mess with show cats that earn high placements. Who is John Galt? In any case, hypocrisy is to blame — no matter whose side it’s on.

Why is all this anger being thrown at me, when there’s actually someone else involved? Why are those who adopted from me and specifically requested shipping — the ones who received their kittens by cargo — staying silent now? Afraid to admit they used the same service? Or just hoping the storm passes while I take all the heat?
To everyone who wrote nasty things to me: know that to me you are insignificant people who want to look good at someone else’s expense — at the expense of those who speak openly about their work. Every time I ask people who criticize cargo shipping to provide a documented example of a bad experience — no one can. They just tell me to “Google it.”
Funny how that works: when you speak openly about your work, they demand proof and evidence.
But when you ask them to back up their claims — their tongues suddenly disappear right up their ass.
Let me make this clear once again: cargo animal shipping is a completely legal option that follows all USDA regulations. In 15 years of breeding, I have never had a single bad experience. I’ve blocked everyone who came to spread hate and will continue doing so.

So many of you were so “concerned” that a cat was supposed to stay for a while in a pet hotel during a layover — but at the last moment it turned out there isn’t even one at that airport, so the flight was canceled.
And yet, where are your angry letters to TICA or CFA demanding to ban cat shows? At those same shows, cats sit two or three per cage for two full days, from morning till evening, inside tiny show tents!
Do you think a cat understands that she’s “earning points”? Or is it all just for the owner’s entertainment and ego?
Open your eyes — why are you so narrow-minded? Why is your only reaction to spew bile in comments instead of actually thinking or acting on a larger scale?
If someone has a problem with cargo shipping, take it up with American Airlines or the USDA — not on my page. When I obtained my USDA license, an entire section was dedicated to cargo transport. So those бляди who tried to shame me should know — there is nothing illegal or shameful about what I do.
What’s truly shameful is attacking a person publicly about something you don’t understand and have no experience with, or writing nasty things in private messages and emails like cowardly rats — capable only of anonymous baseness — the hypocritical, rotten nonentities themselves.

So, today was supposed to be the day I shipped a kitten from Cleveland to Portland, Oregon. I booked this flight last week, got a confirmation from American Airlines, and everything was confirmed with the airway bill number.

But this morning, I show up at the Cleveland cargo facility bright and early, and they refuse to accept the kitten. They tell me it’s because if the layover is longer than seven hours, the pet has to go into a pet hotel, and Phoenix doesn’t have that option. I mean, how the hell is a breeder supposed to know these internal American Airlines rules if even the cargo department employee who booked it for me didn’t know?

Then I called the cargo department, explained the problem, and they checked options from Detroit, Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus. Same issue everywhere—long layovers. The only option they offered was out of Chicago, and Chicago is a six-hour drive one way from me. Of course, I’m not going to drive to Chicago just to put the kitten on a plane.

About Our Cattery

My name is Olga. My family and I are glad to present our small in-home cattery specializing in charcoal silver color for Bengal cats and dark solid colors for Oriental Short Hair cats. We are located in Ashland, Ohio 🇺🇸

We spend a lot of time with the kittens and cats to socialize them as family members before we sell them. They are raised underfoot. We allow the cats to roam freely throughout the house. They are very well socialized, played with daily and all get along well together. We trim nails weekly so they are very accustomed to this grooming activity. We are always in touch with a licensed veterinarian to maintain each cat in good condition.
