Story Time!!! 👇👇👇

While Burnie was in Alaska, he was on the hunt for deer and ducks. He and Dustin ended up bagging a nice Sitka Blacktail and so they went to tracking!

All of the sudden, while following the blood trail, they saw a bear had gotten to it before they did!! And not just any bear, the largest brown bear species in the world- a Kodiak Brown Bear.😱Exceeding weights of 1,000lbs, and a standing height of 10ft tall!

Hearts are pounding, and Burnie pulls out his phone to record this once in a lifetime moment. Thankfully, they all left Alaska in one piece but they didn’t leave empty handed! (check out our last Burnie post!)

One of our favorite posts of the year! We took in 539 DONATED DEER this year!! (From over 350+ hunters) You may have to ZOOM in or grab your glasses to read the names on the list, but we are beyond thrilled to be able to provide quality meat products to our community. For the last few years we have partnered with the organization "Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry" and they continue to be outstanding partners in our dedication to giving to our community. THANK YOU to everyone who donated. THANK YOU to "Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry" and THANK YOU to our team for working so hard this season!

If you found yourself this deer season wondering “Where’s Burnie?”🤔 (not to be confused with Waldo), you’re not alone! He’s been venturing to Texas and Alaska on the hunt for some new species… Sandhill Cranes in Texas and Barrows Goldeneye ducks, Harlequin ducks, and Sitka Blacktail deer in Kodiak, Alaska.

While in Alaska, he also spotted a Kodiak brown bear..😱 as well as orcas, sea lions, and more! (Videos coming soon)

While in Texas, he and his friend, Dustin, attempted a steak-eating challenge at a steakhouse… Safe to say, their eyes were slightly larger than their stomachs, and about halfway through, they were out-beefed🤣

Well y’all, it’s finally come to an end.. Deer Season ‘25-‘26 is in the books! We cannot begin to express how much we appreciate each and every one of our customers, our staff, and our friends & family for all the continued support.

We definitely went out with a bang this year (although most of you were pretty camera shy towards the end🤣) but that’s okay! We love you nonetheless!
