The Wentz Petz This page was started in 2015, was originally named Daily Zed as a celebration of the life of Zed Wentz and his daily adventures. Zed passed away in May 2016.

In February 2017, we adopted Theo who passed in January 2021. Now Carly and Reekie are here.

The Story behind Daily Zed

This page originally started out as Daily Zed.

Zed was adopted from Loudoun County Animal Services in May 2010.

He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in May 2015 and in August 2015, pulmonary hypertension. He was on several medications several times a day. He passed away in May 2016.

I created #DailyZed as a way to cherish the last year we had with Zed.
