You haven’t seen me post in a hot minute because we have been super busy with all of the new puppies the past few weeks. We take our time helping these babies feel confident, safe & comfortable when they come in to learn about being groomed. And yes, there is extra snuggle time built in to their appointments 🐶😍🐾

Grady Finnegan

Our sweet little client, Grady, is in a calendar contest to help raise awareness for Megaesophagus. Grady was born with this condition and it prevents him from being able to swallow food and water like most other dogs. If you have a minute to jump over to give him a vote we would appreciate it. Our original goal was to raise $2000 with our May Raffle to support two local charities that lost spring fundraising events due to COVID-19. This is one of the two organizations we are supporting with our May Raffle. And this is why . . . They help local pet parents afford the treatment their pets need to fight cancer. We are cheering you on Sweet Leo - Kick Cancers A$$!!

This big love bug is Leo, a five-year-old lab mix battling osteosarcoma. His back leg was amputated at the beginning of April after Leo's family noticed a limp and received the bone cancer diagnosis. Now he's receiving chemotherapy treatments under the excellent care of the team at The Oncology Service in Leesburg, VA. Through our Companions in Crisis program, FETCH is helping relieve the financial burden of Leo's lifesaving treatments by funding a portion of the costs.

"If he were a human child, there would be no question about treating him. He is like a child to me, so there you go..." Let's wish Leo and his family all the best as they continue on their journey against this awful disease. We know you can beat this, bud!
