A bittersweet day as we said goodbye to Hudson - a program favorite who departed to his forever home with a wonderful family in the Bay Area 😍

We also welcomed two new from ASPCA Right Horse adoption partner Win Place Home, Inc. Meet “Moose” (Smiling at Val), a 2019 17hh gelding and “Aragorn” (Trappe the Moment), a 2014 15.3hh gelding.

Buddy, our mini mascot, got some new friends too with gentle Bud and Spud joining his herd 👀

In celebration of Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day on March 29, Cal Poly’s Veterans Center is hosting a dinner and short movie screening at the Elks San Luis Obispo to raise funds for their food pantry and the SLO Vet Center.

Please join us and spread the word about this wonderful, low-cost community initiative to raise funds for wonderful causes benefiting our Veterans

$15 per person ($10 for Veterans) for the Elks’ famous pork chop dinner. RSVP required - please call the Elks directly at 805-543-0322.

Proceeds from the event are going to support our programs including Elite Vocations - vocational horsemanship education for at-risk Veterans in our community 💜🦄💜
