As always, I had a great time working with last Friday.
Brody came to me after being exiled from a groomer. We spent a few weeks training and then I accompanied him to his first groom with Brooke. Her expertise is always so refreshing. Her and I share a number of clients at this point and it’s always so satisfying being able to see a dog complete a groom when they previously couldn’t.
Brody’s owners managed to get his coat mostly shaved off through the grooming practice they were assigned through their private lessons. This allowed us to focus on helping him be comfortable in a grooming environment while just trining up his face and paws. It’s amazing to see what can be accomplished when the owners, groomer, and trainer all work together. Brody was serious about biting over tools when I first met him. To see him move past that and be safer for his first trip to Brooke’s was wonderful.
Her three year anniversary is this Saturday. In honor of that, she is going to have a sale on some of the really cool stuff that her boutique sells. If you didn’t already plan on it, you should absolutely join me with stopping in.
