Who remembers this sweet face? Miss Maggie trained with us back in June, and we just got the most heartwarming update!

She’s thriving with a brand-new human in the house, and her family shared some adorable photos of the two of them together. Seeing them side by side is a powerful reminder of how far Maggie has come. Before training, she had a big heart but lacked the impulse control to be a fully trusted, included member of the family. But now? She’s right where she belongs.

Their commitment to the training and follow-through at home shines through in every photo. It’s clear Maggie isn’t just fitting in—she’s flourishing. I’m beyond proud of her and her people. This is what the work is all about. 🐾❤️

Little Charlotte takes her role as chief puppy caretaker very seriously! Murphy just arrived for the weekend, and she's already busy inspecting his fluffy ears and pondering his deepest thoughts. He’s been visiting us since he was just 8 months old—now he’s 5! It’s such a joy to see my training pups grow up and build lasting friendships with our training clients ❤️

These happy faces say it all! Callie and our duo are having a blast in the backyard. It’s always a win when energy levels and play styles match so well!

We’re often asked if we recommend dog parks—and honestly, we don’t. While I love using the area outside the park for training, the park itself is usually full of overstimulated dogs whose owners may not be actively guiding them. Without proper supervision, dogs can easily become overwhelmed, or on the flip side, a bit too pushy with others. That’s why we’re thoughtful about who we pair for play—only putting dogs together when we know their personalities, how they play, and making sure no one is stressed or outmatched. Happy, safe play is always the goal!

Callie is having a blast during her stay! Her days are full of play, snuggles, and well-earned naps—it’s pretty much play, nap, repeat around here! In other news, our sweet Zadie girl seems to be on the mend after a tough few days that landed her in the ER with a bout of diarrhea. Given the weight she’s lost over the past year, they ran a full panel of bloodwork and an ultrasound, but everything came back inconclusive.

She had to go back to the vet yesterday because she still wasn’t doing well—she wasn’t eating or drinking and was in pretty rough shape most of the day.

But this morning, she ate breakfast and has been perking up at the mere hint of food, greeting us with those bright, hopeful eyes we love so much.

We’re feeling optimistic that our girl is finally turning a corner!

Early morning zoomies to start the day right!
We love having a fully fenced yard where all our visiting pups can run, play, and burn off that morning energy safely. And of course, our little assistants are always on the job—dishing out treats and making sure everyone has a blast. They take their roles as play buddies and snack supervisors very seriously! ❤️🐾🤣

Happy Saturday from the pups! 📷

When your pups board with us, we take great care in choosing their playmates to make sure everyone has a great time! We start with our own dogs, introducing them one at a time, and then select other pups based on temperament and compatibility. Luna, Weller, and Willett are already great friends, so they get to jump right into playtime together!
