Great work Officer Orr & Thor! And hats off for always being ready and on call for anyone who needs help in your community! 🙏 Thor (Rusty x Boo) is from our breeding program. He is owned, trained, and handled by Officer Orr and is a dedicated member of the North Paw K9 Search and Recovery Team.

Big shoutout to one of our own for an incredible act of service in the Anchorage community 👏🐾

Officer Ken Orr and his K9 partner Thor recently played a key role in the search and recovery of a missing young boy. Working alongside North Paw K9 Search and Recovery, a volunteer nonprofit dedicated to providing urban K9 search support across Alaska, they answered the call when Anchorage Police requested tracking assistance 🚔

After the boy had been missing for nearly seven hours, Officer Orr and Thor helped bring the search to a safe and successful outcome ❤️

This is what dedication looks like. Whether on duty or volunteering in the community, our staff continue to step up when it matters most. We’re proud of the work Officer Orr and Thor are doing and grateful for the difference they make every day.
