Ranger has been reactive barking at other dogs and his amazing mom wants to nip any problems in the bud, so we worked with my dogs today and this boy made HUGE progress learning to be “neutral”.

🫣 FEAR!!! 😬
The goal for Millie is to overcome her fear of men so she can go outside to go potty with Grandpa while Mom is not home (instead of in the house).
After years of abuse, her fear is very deep so we are teaching her how to follow leash pressure (instead of trying to reach and catch her) using a “house line” to guide her in the house and in the yard and prevent her reaction to run away.

Quick story of Bentley, a 2 year old goldendood.
He did a puppy foundation board and train at another facility at 6 months old but then at 1.5 years old, mom needed help with fear & nervousness so she took him to be evaluated by yet another trainer in March and his mom was told he is too anxious for Group Lessons. 😳 (shaking, panting, tail tucked, even sweaty paws)
THEN came the recommendation for MEDS. 😡

After our FIRST lesson, it was clear that Bentley did not need meds, he needed confidence and leadership which noone showed his owner.
This is truly an AMAZING dog which I am so thankful that I got to help!

If you are being told your dog needs meds or have a dog on meds, and maybe you feel terrible about it, seek a qualified trainer that specializes in animal behavior.
