I need to give a big thank you to Pat Carrol and Natasha for helping us with Ana last week. We were able to save her life because of your guys help! We were able to catch a calcium and sugar deficiency in Ana. Although the kits came to early and didn't make it, at least we were able to save Ana. So thank you both for your help and knowledge!

We had 4 successful deliveries on Friday, May 19! Two deliveries were not. Unfortunate problems with one of our does caused her to lose her litter but we were able to save her. Our Netherland, being her very first pregnancy had troubles as well and lost her litter, but shows great potential. Given her size I expected at the most two maybe three but she had four. On a good note we have a total of 17 new kits and the mammas are all taking very good care of their babies. We have some beautiful colors out in the rabbit barn! A couple we may need help with identifying Pat, Mandy and Natasha! Lol! Fortunately we were able to witness each rabbits births. Sierra is learning to take over the rabbit barn with help from us and her brother Jake. They are checking often and keeping good care of all our bunnies. More pictures to come!

We had to take a long break but we are now back! We breed 6 does today so here in a month we hope to have some nice healthy kits!

We had our first litter of the year this morning! Finally!!! We are waiting on two more. Dam is a solid orange and sire is a broken blue tort. 6 kits in all.

Unfortunately I have lost a great number of does since winter hit. I will be breeding only two does this week. Until early summer I will not be breeding any more than that. I will hopefully have a couple of Netherlands and Hollands available in a few short months.

I guess there is a herd of 15-20 rabbits hopping around Potsdam! Thought maybe someone might know someone who breeds there. Dusty said there a larger breed.

We are finally breeding our Black Tort Doe with a black from Pat Carrols barn. She has awesome bloodlines and knows almost everything about Netherlands maybe we will learn something!
