Hi Mom! Hi Dad!
I’m so excited - I get to see you this week! I can't wait to show you how much I've grown - as you will see, it's tiring work! ….. I’m cuter, funnier, more playful, but …gulp…. My teeth sure are getting to me; I’m chewing and testing out my teeth on everything, think I’m going to need lots of options/ toys to chew on – bones, rope toys, stuffed animals, rubber toys, squeakers – the more of these items, the less chance I’ll be tempted to reach for your new sneakers or leather purse… trust me…. I just can’t help myself; I’m just a young pup exploring 😉
One of my favorite times has been playing with my buddies. I’m old enough now to start out with a new light leash – can’t wait for the big walks, but for right now 15-20 minutes is tops. Afterwards, I get really tired out… so settling into my crate would be comforting for a snooze, but better get me one with a divider though – that way I won’t be tempted to “use” my crate for other means. Speaking of which, ...I’m "going" 5-10 minutes after my meals! My sibs and I are loving IAMS Smart Puppy ProActive Health, LARGE BREED Puppy formula, Im bringing a bag home with me but keep it on hand for me, not any other kind… I don’t want to get sick because of a switch; my tummy is so delicate, even if I seem tough 😉
I’ve been to the vets twice now, but can’t wait to meet my new one… Mom tells me I can get used to this one – I’ll be here for good now. I’ll need my shots soon and more dewormer meds to keep them in check.
I am looking forward to our drive home together, but better bring some paper towels, Ziploc baggies, and wipes justtttt in case I get too nervous. Don’t forget my light leash, it will come in handy when we stop for a potty break – See you soon! Dreaming these next few nights of seeing you!~
