We are very small time breeders. We only breed our pets. We spend a lot of time with the babies so they will be well socialized.

We are small time breeders located in Arab, Alabama. We are just a family who loves dogs. We only breed our pets so we only have a few high quality litters per year. Our dogs are family. They live inside with plenty of playtime outside, sleep with us and are very spoiled. All are well socialized with both humans and other animals. Your baby will come to you loved, well socialized, vet checked, wormed, and up to date on shots. Also a goodie bag to remind them of mom. All of our pups start their life “High On The Hog” so to speak and we want them to go to families that will treat them the same way. If you’re looking for a dog to light up your life then a DOODLE will do it!! They are very smart, loyal, affectionate, and some become great service animals.

What is an f1b Labradoodle?

An F1 (or first generation) is a Poodle bred to a Labrador Retriever or a Golden Retriever. The resulting puppies are 50% Poodle and 50% Retriever. An F1b is also referred to as a Backcross. In this case, an F1 is bred back to a Poodle. The puppies are 75% Poodle and 25% Retriever.

Labradoodle Appearance

Labradors vary less in height than Standard Poodles, with a recommended height of about 22 to 24 inches at the shoulder. A standard Labradoodle full grown may reach anything from 15 to 24 inches tall, but is more likely to come in at the top end of that spectrum.

Are Labradoodles easy to train?

Yes. Labradoodles, because of their highly intelligent and social nature, are easy to train and generally quite eager to learn new tasks. They are pleasers and bond to their humans well. As with all breed, however, early and consistent training are vitally important.

Are Labradoodles smart?

Labradoodles are intelligent and need to be mentally and physically stimulated. If they aren't, they can become destructive and hard to handle. Labradoodles do well with other dogs and pets.

What is the average lifespan of a Labradoodle? 15 years

Labradoodles are relatively long lived as a breed and an average life expectancy is between 12 and 15 years. In general, smaller dogs live longer than larger dogs, and there are many factors that affect lifespan, such as diet, exercise, genetics, accidents and injury, etc.

Coat, Color and Grooming: Although a Labradoodle can have one of a range of coat types, the desired length is 4 to 6 inches. She has a single coat with hair ranging from straight to loose or tight curls. Regular grooming is required to prevent knots and matting.

Crate training benefits every dog and is a kind way to ensure that your Labradoodle doesn't have accidents in the house or get into things she shouldn't. A crate is also a place where she can retreat for a nap. Crate training at a young age will help your Labradoodle accept confinement if she ever needs to be boarded or hospitalized.
