🐾❤️ Things I Love About My Job!

My furry walking buddies have no idea they’re helping me train for another one of my favorite things… RUNNING! 🏃‍♀️🐕

All those dog-walking miles definitely add up!

Today I traded leashes for a race bib and tackled the Haunted Hustle! 🎃🏅

Hills, miles, smiles, and some new friends along the way!

Pretty awesome when your job helps keep you active for something else you love doing. ❤️

🐾 TUESDAY TIPS! 🐾

Retractable leashes: convenient or risky?

They give dogs extra freedom, but they can also create some unexpected dangers!

⚠️ Less control in busy areas
⚠️ Thin cords can cause cuts and burns
⚠️ Broken or detached clips can snap back with serious force

I know someone whose retractable leash snapped back and actually BROKE her glasses! 😳 Thankfully, her eyes were protected.

❤️ My tip: A standard 4–6-foot leash is often the safer choice for everyday walks. Your dog can still sniff, explore, and enjoy their adventure!

👇 Team retractable or team standard leash?

🍂🐾 TUESDAY TIP!

Fall leaves are beautiful, crunchy, and apparently full of the most fascinating smells known to dogkind.

But here’s something to keep in mind during your autumn walks!

🍁 Fallen leaves can hide things you don’t want your dog stepping on or investigating.

Sharp sticks, broken glass, litter, and other debris can easily disappear beneath a pile of leaves.

That doesn’t mean your dog can’t enjoy a good sniffing session! Just keep an eye on where they’re exploring, especially in deep piles or along the curb.

🐾 The takeaway: Let them sniff, explore, and enjoy fall—but remember that you can’t always see what’s hiding underneath those pretty leaves!

Happy fall walking! 🍁❤️🐶

🍁🐾 Things I Love About My Job

One of the things I absolutely love about being a dog walker is getting to experience all four seasons up close.

And FALL? Oh, she’s showing off right now! 😍🍂

The gorgeous colors, the crisp air, the leaves scattered everywhere… I could spend all day admiring it.

Same walk. Three very different perspectives.

And I wouldn’t trade these little moments for anything. ❤️🐾🍁
