What a great show weekend at GOHJA by Brookmore Farms!
We had jumpers and hunters earning high ribbons. ❤️🦄
Maiya and Moose cruised around the 2'3 jumpers.
Victoria and Carter had some great jumps in the 2' jumpers.
Aspyn and Winnie stepped up to the 2'3 modified hunter learning a new partnership.
Wren and Reese stepped into the crossrail hunter with a new partnership.
Kamila and Missie and Victoria and Joey getting to fine tune their short stirrup divisions.
Maiya and Moose in the TB hunters putting in a clean round.
Sabrina and Titan in the 2'6 TB's on a clients horse.

ISO: 1 Groom and 1 Working Student for Hunter/Jumper Barn
SE HABLA ESPANOL

GROOM:
Seeking a reliable, experienced groom to join our team! Ideal hours are 7-11am and 3-6pm, with some flexibility.

Duties include:

• Feeding
• Turn-in/turn-out
• Mucking stalls/pastures
• General horse care
• Basic property upkeep
• Possible Groom at shows

This is a competitively paid position based on experience. We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sport horses.
Must be able to work independently and handle horses safely and efficiently.

Positive, friendly environment with a great team.

WORKING STUDENT:
Looking for a working student to help out during the day, ideally 8am–1pm or 9am–3pm.
Main duties include
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Tacking up
• Lunging
• no mucking or heavy barn work required.

In exchange, you’ll receive 1–2 lessons per week depending on how many days you work. There’s also some opportunity to free ride when appropriate.

Must be confident handling horses on the ground, and know how to lunge (including proper warm up and cool down), tack (with different equipment), ice wrap, bathe, and groom.

Perfect for a rider looking to gain more saddle time, barn experience, and work closely with a trainer.

Exciting News at Forte Farm!

We are delighted to announce that Hilda Donahue will be offering lessons at Forte Farm! With a remarkable career spanning multiple disciplines, Hilda has competed at the highest levels of eventing, dressage, endurance, and show jumping. She has represented Ireland on the world stage, including at the World Cup Final, and has competed at elite CCI***** events such as Burghley, Rolex Kentucky, and Adelaide. A USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist in dressage, Hilda has trained with renowned professionals like Anne Gribbons and Ian Millar. Her passion for teaching shines through in her encouraging and insightful coaching style, making her an incredible resource for riders of all levels. We are excited to welcome her to Forte Farm and look forward to the knowledge and experience she will bring to our community!
