We are still busy busy and getting our kids ready for another school year, hatching more, changing diet for everyone, adding more friends to the mix, as well as a bunny. 🐰 Here's some pictures of our cute lil boy.

Topsy Turvy Thursday!

Here's an update on the chicks we hatched a week ago! They're growing up so fast! 🥹 So adorable and this stage is going to be over soon. Had to share before this stage was over. Their feathers are now starting to come in. We also have one of the twins from the other hatch we had a month ago but the other twin didn't make it. We'll post an update on the few quail we kept from that hatch on our next post. 😍🌹🫶🤠

Monday Morning Moments... It's madness 😭 haha 😆

Here's something funny for you guys to laugh at... Hopefully my ditsy moment makes someone's day brighter and start it off with a good laugh! 😅

So... She usually sleeps on her own bed out with our other babies... But I thought 🤔💭 hmmmm maybe I can stay up watching TV with Mochi and cuddle together on the couch... FORGETTING... Our dog Mochi is almost the same weight as me... But when she falls asleep LMAO 🤣😂😅 she became dead ☠️💀 weight and we fell asleep... Okay let me refraise it... She slept through the night 😪🌉 BUT her snoring 🥱😴 kept me awake off and on... 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣😂😅 Point to this funny half asleep moment... I'm never falling asleep with her cuddling on top of me again... She snores so loud... Hahaha

Another major update we have been busy with S&ST Topsy-turvy Quails project is almost ready now!

We've been working on our own Jumbo Coturnix celadon eggs project. After almost 2yrs of wanting,owning,hatching, and raising regular/Jumbo/celadon blue eggs gene layer. We've been working on Quail that makes an ink design on the eggs, which reminds me of my mom's favorite ice cream and they have special color designs. I'm excited to announce that they're laying exactly what we want!!! Right egg size, beautiful ink design on the blue, and all Jumbo size! We are still going to wait a while till feather colors are what we desire for our "Mint Chocochip Eggers" and until then they are still our private collection but will let you know when they'll be available! For now you'll have to stay tuned. 🎊🥳🎉🤟🫶✌️

My husband told me to inform everyone why we've not been posting. (He took the photo) Lots of things have been going on and one of the major things being that my husband had eye surgery. We've been focusing on some family stuff for now. We will get back to posting soon. We're so sorry for not posting more content for you guys and will try to get back to it soon. It is a twisted Tuesday today as we found something eggciting in our incubator!!!! Our Jumbo celadon egg is hatching!

Twins! We have twins hatching from one Celadon egg! NOW... At first we did not realize what was going on. All we saw was one little pip hole and then within two more hours we saw another pip hole on the other end. By then we figured it was having fun rolling around in there. We didn't think there was any trouble, so we waited and then the next day we decide to crack it a little bit more open on both pips just in case it was stuck rolling around in there trying to figure out its way out. When we did that and checked both pip holes there were faces at both holes.... 😲😳🤯 They both are so different but so cute! 🥰🫶🥂🎉 We're definitely watching all the eggs closely now. 😅🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Well that's a first quail egg with twins hatching for us... lol 😆 and even more surprising it happened with our jumbo Celadons....

Our Jumbo Italian sparkly & German sparkly mix Quail "Rose" cuddled mama for a little bit while collecting eggs. Such a sweet heart! 😘🥰💕 Loving them cuddles and sunbathing on my lap while I collected as well as gave everyone their treats. Absolutely a busy weekend but these moments make it all worth it and we feel so blessed to have quail that are social babies that love the attention! 🫶🤠

We're checking out the fig trees to see how they're growing 💗 and there's definitely more now! Yay!

While checking on the fruit and how soon we'll be harvesting, our son caught a new friend he said is called "Hopper"... He lasted about 7 mins until he escaped our son and flew away. Now my son is adamant on finding him again... I told him he can try his best.... 30 min later... "can't find him"... We're definitely not finding him anymore... Lmao 🤣🤦‍♀️
