A Healthy Tip from Sailors!

Exercise isn’t just important for your dog’s physical health—it plays a major role in their mental well-being too.

Daily activities like walks and playtime help maintain strong muscles, healthy joints, and a strong heart. Just as importantly, they reduce the risk of anxiety and unwanted behaviors.

Dogs need mental stimulation as much as physical activity. Without it, boredom can set in, often leading to destructive habits like chewing or excessive barking. Over time, this lack of engagement can increase anxiety.

Regular exercise helps release built-up energy in a positive way, keeping your dog calmer, more balanced, and less prone to stress or fear.

Healthy pumpkin and oat dog treat recipe:🦴🐾❤️🐶

Combine 1 cup of 100% pure pumpkin puree (not pie filling)
2 eggs
3 cups of old-fashioned oats.

Scoop into small balls and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–40 minutes.

Welcome Fletcher! A new friend of the Sailor's Dog Walking & Pet Care family! Fletcher gets so excited when we walk through the door and go for his walks 💖

Fletcher loves his adventures, leading the way on his walk through the neighborhood! He enjoys his playtime inside as well, chasing his favorite squeaky balls and putting his toys in a pile on the sofa! Fletcher is such a sweet heart and a joy to be around.
