If you can't get out to see us at Bark Bash today you can still pick up Doggie Dough Bakery Treats at the farmers market in Ankeny today.

Is this what he’s thinking? Not for sure. But I DO know if a treat hits the floor he can go from a deep sleep to securing his next snack in about 0.4567 seconds!

Bath time can be a great bonding experience for you and your dog 🫧🐶

Here are some ways to make it special:

💕 Gentle Approach: Start slow and make sure your dog feels safe. Talk to them in a calm, soothing voice to help them relax.
🛁 Use Lukewarm Water: Make sure the water temperature is comfortable for your dog. Too hot or cold can make them anxious.
🍪 Positive Reinforcement: Give treats or lots of praise during and after the bath to make it a rewarding experience.
🧽 Massage and Scrub: As you lather up the shampoo, give them a gentle massage. It’s soothing and helps create a deeper connection.
💨 Drying with Care: Use a soft towel to dry them, or a blow dryer on a low, cool setting. The process of drying off can also be a bonding moment.

Bubbly Paws is stepping up to help our furry friends in Florida and North Carolina who have been affected by the recent hurricanes. We’ve partnered with the Jacksonville Humane Society to provide much-needed supplies and donations to support animals in need. Together, we can make a difference for pets displaced and impacted by these devastating storms.

How You Can Help
We’re collecting essential supplies for dogs and cats, including:

Dog treats - unopened

Kongs (new) – large and medium

New leashes (standard, non-retractable)

Paper towels

New or gently used blankets and towels
