“My name is Katie, and I've been working in veterinary medicine for many years. Throughout my career, I've cared for pets in both emergency medicine and general practice/urgent care, giving me experience working with everything from routine care to critically ill patients. I have a passion for low-stress handling and believe every pet deserves patience, compassion, and individualized care.

At home, I'm a wife, mom to three daughters, and pet mom to four dogs and three cats. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, which is why I strive to make every visit as calm and positive as possible.

I'm excited to be part of the At Home Pet Co. team and look forward to helping your pets feel comfortable in the place they know best—their own home. Whether it's nail trims, ear cleanings, medication administration, dog walks, or drop-in visits, you can trust that your furry family members will be treated with the same kindness, patience, and care that I'd want for my own pets.”

🐾 NOW HIRING: OVERNIGHT PET CARE SPECIALIST 🐾

🚨 PLEASE SHARE! 🫶

At Home Pet Co. is looking to add a reliable, trustworthy, and experienced animal professional to our team for overnight pet sitting and in home pet care throughout central Indiana.

This position is ideal for someone who genuinely loves animals and is comfortable staying overnight in clients’ homes while providing exceptional care for their pets.

✨ What we’re looking for:

• Must live in Central Indiana
• Must be comfortable and available to stay overnight in clients’ homes
• Previous experience working with animals is required
• Veterinary experience strongly preferred — RVT, veterinary assistant/technician, animal behavior, rescue, shelter, grooming, etc.
• Comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments
• Comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions
• Experience with senior, special needs, or medically complex pets is a HUGE plus
• Extremely reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
• Professional and comfortable communicating with clients
• Must be comfortable being in clients’ homes independently and treating their homes and belongings with respect

🐶 What you’ll be doing:

• Overnight pet sitting in clients’ homes
• Providing meals, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship
• Medication administration and special-needs care when needed
• Following individualized care instructions
• Providing updates and photos to pet parents
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment

This is a part time, flexible position with overnight bookings based on client needs and your availability.
