Your cat may not show it like a dog, but they absolutely notice when you leave. From waiting by the door, sleeping on your clothes, extra meowing, or becoming extra clingy when you get home, these are all little ways they show they missed you 🤍

The Anderson County Animal Shelter, also known as Paws, is starting their TNR program again 👏🏼🙏🏼

If anybody needs help trapping some, shoot us a message. We would be happy to assist!

🚨 TNR DAYS ARE BACK 🚨 READ THE WHOLE POST - For Anderson County Residents Only

Our first Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) day is March 23rd! 🐾

Drop-off time: 8:00–8:45 AM
➡️ We will NOT accept late drop-offs

Please read ALL guidelines carefully before arriving:

✔️ Cats MUST be in a functional trap
❌ NO carriers, boxes, or crates — we will NOT accept them
✔️ One cat per trap (no exceptions)
✔️ Traps must be EMPTY except for the cat
❌ No cardboard, towels, blankets, bowls, p*e pads, etc.

✂️ All cats will receive an ear tip
❌ Microchipping is NOT an option for TNR cats

🚫 Please do NOT block the front door during drop-off so staff can enter

🚫 If you see cones blocking the entrance, we are FULL and will not be accepting additional traps

📄 We are sharing our surgery form so you can print and fill it out ahead of time for a quick and easy drop-off. You can also stop by beforehand to pick up a form if you don’t have access to a printer.

They’re whispered… when the house is quiet and the memories aren’t.

Dear God,
if You see my furry angel tonight,
please kiss their forehead for me
and let them feel it’s from the one who still loves them.

Because love didn’t end the day they left.
It just found another way to reach them.
