We almost lost our baby last night. Our other dogs woke me up just before midnight and when I walked into the living room I heard this awful retching noise. He was vomiting up white foam, his stomach was convulsing, and he was crying in pain. We live 45 minutes from the Emergency vet hospital and I broke every speed limit possible to get him there. Turns out his stomached flipped and he needed emergency surgery! Thank goodness we made it and his surgery was successful! He will be home tomorrow!! Lugh is 9 years old and the picture of health before this. Now we have a few weeks of recovery ahead of us!
