Sometimes I don’t know which boy we’ll get in the ring - the poised major pointed multiple breed from the classes winner, or the goober who refuses to act his age. It’s okay we love both. 💀🤣

Miss Candi only showed two days in Woodland, but went Winners, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite S*x to best of breed both days. Thank you Christine for the opportunity to learn about and handle a breed that is new to me!

Hennessy - Raising Honor du Chateau Rocher - won both his majors (plus two singles) in Woodland at our final show of the year. He also got a nice breed win over specials. Huge congratulations to owner Christina and breeder Karla , thank you to the judges who found this boy in a lovely set of dogs - despite heavy wind, a major earthquake nearby, and facing the wicket for the first time!

We’ve been busy and it’s not slowing down yet! Baby gates and xpens are your best friends in multi-dog households, especially when hormones and stress are high. Management to prevent issues is so much easier than trying to fix them once they start.

Three weekends of back to back shows down, two to go! Jumped in the ring with a poodle, a papillon, a flat coat, an Aussie, a mal, a few lappies, and of course a few cattle dogs ❤️❤️ not my usual crew but everyone had fun and got some nice wins and excellent experience! Charm, Diamondust Superstition, went Reserve both Thursday and Friday in Bakersfield - the only two days she was entered. They also offered a special puppy attraction Thursday and she took a group four out of a beautiful lineup of nine working group puppies.
