These little beauties are a week old and are doing so well. Due to all the complications of their birth we are still bottle feeding them every 2 hours. Its a true labor of love. But they are super active and gaining weight. Mama is recovering well and babies are doing great overall. I will keep updating as they get bigger.

Sorry for not posting as of lately. There has been a lot of family stuff happening. But we have big news to share! We thought our wired hair dachshund Skye wasn't pregnant but about 3ish weeks ago we found out she was in fact pregnant. After a very difficult delievery that turned into a c-section, one puppy sadly didn't make it but we have 2 healthy girl puppies. We have decided to keep both. Too soon to know if they are wired hair. I will update more moving forward.

These boys are such sweethearts. Our chocolate boy will be leaving at the end of the week to his family. He has been such a joy to love on the past few months. He will be missed but is going to a great family.

In other news 2 of our females we were hoping were pregnant are not pregnant. Which of course is disappointing. But our next females to have a heat cycle will likely be in August or September. So hopefully we have better luck then and if we do I will let everyone know. I'm hoping for puppies by the holidays!

Week 10 update. Sorry this is a little late. Life has been busy busy. Not much to say we still have 2 puppies left with us. One leaves on Monday and the other in a couple of weeks. But overall they are thriving and playing tons. They have endless energy.

Week 9 update: These cuties are still with us. They are doing great in every way. They have more energy than you can imagine. They are best friends. They are sleeping better at night. We've had a few nights of not waking up at all. Yay! Their favorite thing is to be outside playing or just sniffing around and chewing on things.
