CA Farrier Service Important Update:

Going forward, Cooper will only be trimming horses when the owner is present at the appointment. This is first and foremost for safety reasons. Some horses require more time, patience, or handling experience, and Cooper is more than happy to show you techniques you can work on at home to help your horse stand better for future trims, but you need to be present.

Secondly, this change is also related to payment expectations. Cooper works extremely hard to provide quality care for your horses. He does not charge for mileage, nor does he charge extra when he takes the time to correct a horse’s behavior during a trim.

However, going forward, if payment is not made on the day of service, we will no longer be able to continue providing farrier services. His tools, time, and physical labor come at a significant cost, and we need to ensure they are respected accordingly.
