Thank you for yesterday!
I got to visit with so many Club Paws dogs at the Petco in Alton, it was wonderful.
Molly Pickles, Toby, Rocky, Mila and Sasha came to say "hello" I got kisses from everyone.
It really made my day

As many of you know, Club Paws, Inc. donated some if it's profits to Hope Animal Rescues.
With the closing of Club Paws, Inc. the rescue has to navigate a new path to raise the funds lost with the close.
I don't like to use this space for fundraising, but I thought you may all want to help, so I decided to post this fundraiser here for those of you who do.
I miss the doggies and think of all of you every single day.
The best years of my life were laughing and playing with your dogs.
Thank you for that opportunity.
If you don't want to use online payments that is ok, I will be at the Petco in Alton this Saturday volunteering with the rescue at their adoption event. You can bring a donation in between 11am and 2pm. You could also bring a dog or two if you have one for me to visit..lol...

From Jenna and Gerald Moore:
We have the saddest news to report. Our beloved Juno crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday morning. Overnight, she went into congestive heart failure. We rushed her to the Animal Emergency Center in Collinsville early yesterday morning, but there was nothing they could do to save her or even make her more comfortable.
We are devastated, and that's an understatement. But we were so lucky to have had 5 years of love and joy with her. Here she is in her favorite place in all the world: the trampoline at Club Paws.
She was the best little dog in the world, just the absolute best.

Congratulations Peachy Paws!
I am so happy that Godfrey approved the expansion. 16 years ago Club Paws was turned away from the City of Alton by the alderman so I know how stressful this endeavor can be. The community rallied around us and the mayor at the time acted to reconsider and allow the business to be zoned for a doggie daycare..In 16 years there was never a complaint or incident there that caused concern.
All the fear went away and the business was welcomed into the community.
In other communities doggie daycare's are in store fronts and all over for convenience. It is hard to convince people that you cant do doggie daycare out in the country...People need to have it where they travel to work or school.
I am proud of the Village of Godfrey for being forward thinking and not afraid of change.
I am relieved that soon all my little four legged friends will have another place to go and get their social skills.
With the dog park opening in Godfrey, dogs having good social skills will also be important for the success of the dog park.

I just want to start this post out by saying THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who showed up to the meeting last night in support of the rezoning and expansion, thank you to everyone who sent it messages and calls and emails to the mayor and trustees! Thank you to my amazing employees who work so hard and are just as dedicated to my little business as I am. Thank you so everyone who has supported my business these last few years. 😭❤️ Without you guys’ love and support none of this would be possible. I am overwhelmed with the amount of love and support I’ve been shown these last few days. I truly don’t believe it would have gotten rezoned without you guys! We PACKED that village hall!! I am VERY HAPPY to announce that Peachy Paws Grooming Salon, Training & Day Care is officially COMING SOON!! 😝🍑🐾

SURPRISE! 🍑🐾 The last several months I’ve been working hard to keep this a secret!! I have purchased a new building in Godfrey on West Delmar to expand Peachy Paws Grooming Salon & Spa to Peachy Paws Grooming, Training & Daycare!!
It has been a lengthy process but we are almost able to start renovations! With this new building I need some help from you guys! The building I bought in Godfrey is in the process of being rezoned to allow me to put my business there. There is a meeting at the Godfrey Village Hall tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 4th) at 6:00. It would mean the absolute world to me if any of you guys would be able to come to the meeting and speak in support of my business, or send in letters to the village in support of my business!
Unfortunately, if this does not pass I will be unable to go through with the expansion of Peachy Paws, so I need YOUR help! Thank you all so much for the love and support you have brought my small business

Just wanted let you know that we had to send Vinny over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. He has been struggling with arthritis for months now and yesterday at 4 AM he tried to get up and it hurt. Took him to the emergency room at Hawthorn and they did some Neurlogical tests on him and said he was in extreme pain and it was affecting 3 of his legs and probably his vertebrae. Vinny has been so brave, he would walk as much as he could, but it was scaring him, and making him miserable. We told him when he got over tge bridge to give Bonnie a hug! We loved him so much he was such a good boy! Vinny Boy you are the best ♥️♥️♥️
