It was not only my last day grooming in Alto yesterday, it is the start of a new chapter at our home in Woodland. I’m so sad to leave a great number of my clients behind and it does bring me to tears, yet I’m excited to see new faces and new pups and even some familiar faces from clients willing to stay with me on this journey. We have broken ground on this new construction and while it may take some time, I will continue to make updates. I’m anxious to start grooming again already!

I wanted to provide an update on our upcoming move. Progress is being made, although it is a bit slower than anticipated. We are aiming to open our new location in Woodland by mid-August. While we haven’t finalized an exact date yet, as construction is still in the early stages, we are getting closer to that point.

I will continue to keep everyone informed with updates and photos via Facebook and email. If you would like to receive email updates, please feel free to reach out and share your preferred email address.

As of now, I am not scheduling any appointments for August until we have a confirmed opening date.

Hello all,

As you know, we have been looking for a new, permanent location for Simply Dog Grooming. After making some tough decisions, we have decided to root Simply Dog Grooming in Woodland, MI, our home. Although I am devastated to leave our temporary location, I am ecstatic about the future of Simply Dog Grooming and my family. I am looking forward to continuing my services for my loyal customers and am beyond grateful for meeting all the new, wonderful people of Lowell, Alto, Caledonia and surrounding areas.

I will be moved out of my current location by the end of July. Unfortunately, with how abrupt and uncertain things are at the moment, I do not have a set date of when the new place will be ready. I will continue to give updates on our journey of the permanent location of Simply Dog Grooming.

Until then, week by week, I will be working tirelessly to bump up those who do not wish to travel for my services after the move as to not leave you in the dust. Please contact me if you have an appointment set up before the end of July that you would like to move up if the distance is unreasonable. Please do not take advantage of moving your appointment up if you are within a manageable distance, these appointments will be after-hours and my family time is very valuable to me. I would like to reserve these appointments because I care deeply about all my clients and want to make the transition as smooth as possible if they need to find a different groomer.

Thank you all so much for your continued support. I will miss seeing some of you and your pup’s friendly faces.

Good afternoon! My schedule is filling up very quickly in May. I will now be accepting new clients, HOWEVER, please keep in mind that I’m booked out 3-4 weeks, especially in the summer time so plan accordingly.⏱️

Current clients, that means you can book 2 appointments or up to the rest of the calendar year to make sure that your pup is on the schedule. Cancellations and reschedules have become extremely common so I do have a cancellation list for those who want to get in sooner but weren’t able to at the moment. ☑️

Appointments are first come first serve and always have been. This applies to the correct paperwork being sent and filled out. Thank you for keeping me busy!!😊

💕We are also still looking for property for a permanent home for Simply Dog Grooming. If anyone has any property they’re willing to sell or has any leads, that would be great! 1 acre minimum and preferably in the surrounding areas of Alto/Freeport. Thanks a bunch!! ANNOUNCEMENT:

Unfortunately, I have had to make the difficult decision to adjust my prices. I have been pretty forgiving with some of my prices because I want to help and be reasonable for my services. However, I do own a business and with owning a business comes expense and making a living. I have learned so much the past 3 years in owning said business.

This will not be a significant change, but some of you can expect a slight raise in cost that will be effective IMMEDIATELY. Some costs are up to date, while others are not. I will let you know prior to your pup’s appointment what cost to expect.

If you have questions or concerns, please do feel free to contact me via text or PM, you can also schedule a phone call if you wish. I will be glad to answer. I value every single one of my clients and their loyalty. Thank you for understanding.
