Update on our 14 year old mini doxie , Bear. She has been on vetmedin since her cardiac diagnosis, with a cough medicine on standby should we need that. The idea of using a stroller for Bear was almost brilliant if I do say so, it strongly enables me to hold on while I get my steps in. Bear loves her morning adventures btw. ☀️

We continue our walks. Baruh is getting better at keeping pace. He tries very hard to relax but those bikers come out of nowhere sometimes. His recovery is better and if I don’t make a big deal out of it, he comes back faster.
Enjoy the day, the humidity and heat will start to go down in the next few weeks. We made it through July, and walking is becoming easier for me. Have a great day💫

Baruh has joined our morning walks with Bear and Henry! He did great for the first time on the path. He is fully trained as my service dog for all inside trips. I never walked outside before so this is new for him. Lots of scents and sounds. More on his new training in later posts.

This girl went in for her annual physical exam and to check on her kidneys. It took 5 people to hold her down to draw blood - amidst blood curdling yowls of protest 🙄
