🐓 Small farms helping small farms. ❤️

Today I had the opportunity to lend a hand with chicken processing at Dancing Bear Farm in Claremont, NH!

Of course, I work with local farms to source raw products for my pet treats, but every once in a while I get the opportunity to give back and be of service to the farms that help make my business possible. That’s one of the things I love most about being part of the small-farm community — many hands make light work! 💪

I got to meet some great new people, learn a few things, and even got the chance to chase a chicken. 😅🐔
Dancing Bear Farm has a lot to offer the local community, and I highly recommend checking them out and supporting what they’re doing!

And… I hear they might even have some chicken available. 😅😉🐓

Sometimes one-on-one time is exactly what a dog needs. 💜

Yesterday was all about Nimbus. We don’t get many days with just the two of us, so we made the most of it.

We headed to Keene, grabbed a pup cup, and wandered around downtown together. Everywhere we went seemed to take forever because Nimbus had to stop and sniff absolutely everything… every tree, every corner, and especially every flower. 🌸🐾

Watching him take in the world at his own pace reminded me to slow down too. He gave me a reminder that we all need sometimes: always stop and smell the flowers. Life moves fast, but these little adventures and quiet moments together mean more than he’ll ever know.

I swear Basenjis go through life like they’re on a secret mission that no one else knows about. 😂 They’re always on the move, always investigating, and always convinced there’s something important just around the next corner. 🐾
