Made my first watermelon rind pickles and I'd have to say they're actually delicious. I was highly skeptical but now I'm hooked for life. There's tons of different recipes but I picked one that had some allspice, vinegar, salt and pepper corns. If you've never tried them don't throw out your watermelon rind next time and give them a try!

I was in the process of moving quail eggs from one incubator to the next and then I opened up an incubator that had three guinea foul eggs in it and all of a sudden there was a baby 🤷. I wasn't expecting one this soon but I'm amazed! Can't wait till I can secure some land and have plenty of space to raise all of my animals!

Our first babies of our own! It's been months since we started our quail journey and now it's come full circle. We are finally hatching our own chicks! Our goal is 150 mature birds then we'll start selling eggs and baby chicks! Hopefully in a couple more months and we'll be at our goal.

And PS this raising animals thing takes forever 😂. I'm not patient at all so waiting for the animals to mature and start reproducing is driving me crazy!
