Ms Ghira, Ms Harper and I had a blast joining our good friends Craig Ms Ruby N Allie and crew for a short three day annual hunt in North Dakota. Great friends and great dog work made for a trip to remember.

Ms. Harper had a great time today at the Coastal Bend Retriever Club’s AKC test. She was handled by our good friend and trainer Bob Vorwerk Jr. where together they earned a Junior stake pass. Thank you to the club, its members, workers and the judges.

New title alert! Andrew and Ms. Harper had an absolute blast this weekend with our NAHRA friends in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Harper has gone 5 for 5 and we are proud to be able to call her SR Rustic Road’s Sweetest Thing On Stage. Thank you to the judges, workers and all of the support of our fellow handlers this weekend.
This event was a celebration of the life of our NAHRA family’s dear friend, Dan Hove, was filled with many stories, hugs and tears. He will be greatly missed and would have been proud of the turn out and even more proud of the people who he has influenced. Until Vahalla, Dan.

This weekend we closed out the North American Hunting Retriever Club season. Andrew ran both Ghira and Harper over the last two days and the crew went 3 for 4 on the weekend. Smiles from all in the end as we got to see many friends that we haven’t seen in a long time. Thanks for the season Four Points Retriever Club!

The Rustic Road Crew headed down to Central Iowa this weekend. Andrew handled Ghira on Saturday and together they earned an Intermediate pass. On Sunday, Andrew judged the Senior stake and said he was very happy with the quality of dog work he saw! Its great to be back to playing dog games!

This weekend was a welcomed glimpse back to reality. Andrew judged NAHRA Started, Hunter and Intermediate on what turned into an absolutely steamy day Saturday and today(Sunday) he ran Harper at Started and Ghira at Intermediate. Harper earned her first Started pass! For Ghira, things didn’t go as well and she turned her role into test dog for the rest of the day. Dogs, they say. It was a great weekend with old and new friends and the gang can’t wait to be back at it again!
