I don’t know what happened to the video of all of them serenading me in the car on their way home from being spayed & neutered at our new
Albany Spay and Neuter clinic. Here are some photos of these loves, all ready to meet their new families. Except Ozzy, the fuffy black kitty, has a new family and is going home Friday. 😻

This is Ms Patches, our TNR mama. She’s the mother of the 4 cute kittens we took in this weekend, she gave birth to 2 litters already this year. And now she gets to enjoy the single life, and no more kittens for her. 😻

Welcome Rosie to Helena’s. She is a sweet rescue from a community member who has been fixing community cats for more than 10 years. She has entrusted us to find the right home for this girl.

We know there is a huge need for cat rescue in our area, and many of you feel overwhelmed by the situations near your home, work, or where you shop & eat.
At Helena’s, we are doing our best to address the needs of the community. There are estimated to be more than 10,000-20,000 unowned cats on the streets in Albany. Our focus is on TNR (trap-neuter-return) to help control the cat population. And when we can, we take in adoptable cats to help them find homes. Today, we took in 5 unowned cats, and are once again are at capacity, and unable to take in additional cats.
