Out with the old......in with the new! Today we replaced an old mounting block which had done a good job for many years, but then was starting to be a bit "squishy". Roo and I were excited to make mounting a safer process again! Happy to make you a new one too! Solid, sturdy, and ready to work for many years.

Roo and I had a great time volunteering as scribes today at the USEA YEH and NEH show today. What a lovely group of young horses with fabulous riders. We learned a lot from sitting with the judge all day and are excited to put it to use in my riding, but also in jump design as well!

I apologize for not taking more photos! Roo and I have been really busy making lots of great jumps for everyone. All sorts of fun projects have gone to new homes, thank you all for your support!
This was a fun project that came out well. My trainer likes to keep me hard at work in the saddle, but also on the ground. We pulled this old brown box out of her junk pile and she challenged me to bring it back to life. After removing any bad areas, replacing old nails with screws, making some feet, lots of sanding, a few coats of paint and voila! Now she's got a new brick wall on course that will stay out of a landfill and be back in use.

Delivered a smaller order today to a new neighbor. She just moved here and is getting her farm set up. It was great to meet her and I wound up walking around her new place sharing ideas and tips from all I've learned being here these past several years. Made a new friend! Another great reason I love what I do!

Happy Easter and Passover everyone! Yesterday Roo and I volunteered at the Sporting Days Horse Trials. She thought sleeping in the truck was ok, but getting out in between divisions was much more fun. Chasing pinecones is just a blast she says!
We've got some fun new things we are working on and are excited to show you all soon!

Wow has it been a busy few weeks! Thank you for all your orders and your support! Roo and I love making jumps for you and getting to see your beautiful farms!
Cavaletti seemed to be the theme of last week - 22 of them went to new homes just last week. In addition to our other jumps, but cavaletti definitely seemed to be everyone's focus!
Our cavaletti are built out of 4x4 ground contact pressure treated wood and are built to last! They are very solid and secure. They are easily flipped to have three different heights depending on your need. There are so many different exercises you can do with them. Currently in my field I have a line of cavaletti and raised poles set up at 9' apart. This allows me to trot or canter through them and is a great exercise for your horse. What's your favorite cavaletti exercise?

Roo and I started the day off volunteering at Apple Tree and we brought some nice new poles with us! We have some for sale today and some are new for the course.

Today is a big day for us - it's Roo's gotcha day! One year ago I happened into Friends of the Animal Shelter - FOTAS Aiken and was immediately met with these beautiful sad eyes. Roo had been dumped in a box on the side of the road, found by a good person, and brought to the shelter. At 3 months old she was only 12 pounds and looked "see through skinny".
In the past year she's been my best friend, always by my side and bringing joy to my life everyday. The first two pictures are bringing her home, and the others are from this week as she enjoys life on the farm with me, her horses, and her beloved kitty (who was thrown out a car window onto Whiskey Rd at 4 weeks old....don't get me started there....)
