Just a quick update—I’m currently on maternity leave! 💙

While I’m taking a short break, our training waitlist is already filling up for the rest of the year. If you’re thinking about getting your dog into training—whether it’s obedience, behavior support, or service dog work—now is the time to reach out.

Say hello to Nitro, a Belgian Malinois puppy and service dog in training!

Nitro is already showing incredible focus, drive, and eagerness to learn—all the right traits for a working dog. We’re laying the foundation with obedience, confidence-building, and early task work to prepare him for his important job ahead.

It’s always exciting to watch a pup like Nitro grow into their potential. Big things are ahead for this smart boy! 😄

This sweet girl recently wrapped up a series of private training sessions, and we couldn’t be more proud of her progress. From working on home manners to building focus around distractions, Lucy showed up!!

What is a Walk & Train?

A Walk & Train is more than just a regular walk. It’s a focused training session designed to help your dog practice good behavior and manners in real-world environments. Instead of just getting exercise, your dog gets mental stimulation and guided behavior work at the same time.

This sweet boy is Goose!

Goose came to me severely reactive—barking, lunging, and even screaming. He wasn’t being “bad,” he was overwhelmed and unsure how to cope with his big feelings.

We’ve been working through that together with structure, patience, and lots of controlled exposure. Step by step, Goose is learning that he can feel safe in the world—and he doesn’t have to react to every dog or animal he sees!

We’re not chasing perfection, just calm, confident neutrality. And he’s getting there. So proud of this boy!

Georgia Took On Home Depot Today 🐾

Navigating a big, noisy store like Home Depot is no small task — but Georgia did so incredibly well. From sliding doors to loud carts and new smells, she stayed focused and this was such a confidence boost for her!

Small dogs are capable of big things with the right training and support!

One of the most misunderstood parts of dog training is boundaries—but Riggs is here to show us just how powerful they really are.

When Riggs started training with me, his parents were 100% committed to doing right by him. They didn’t just want an obedient dog—they wanted a happy, balanced one who could enjoy life as a dog, safely and confidently. And that starts with clear structure.

We’ve been working on:
✅ Listening the first time
✅ Respecting space (especially around doors, people, and other dogs)
✅ Checking in and building focus
✅ Managing impulse control in exciting environments

As Riggs learns these boundaries, he’s actually earning more freedom. Because his parents know they can trust him, he’s getting to explore more—more trails, more cuddles, more playtime, more off-leash moments, more opportunities to just be a dog.

This kind of freedom isn’t about luck—it’s about trust, work, and a family that shows up every day for their pup. For a dog like Riggs this wouldn’t be possible without the dedication his parents have to his training!

Way to go, Riggs. Your world is just going to keep getting bigger. 💙🐶

🎓🐾 Huge congratulations to Maverick and his family! This boy has officially graduated!

When Maverick first started training, he was a handful for his family — sporadic in behavior, struggling with boundaries, and showing serious signs of aggression, including bite incidents within his family, vet, etc. He would often react when corrected and had begun developing possessive tendencies that made everyday life a challenge.

But through time, consistency, and a family that never gave up on him, Maverick has made an incredible transformation. Today, he communicates clearly with his family, understands expectations, and no longer responds with aggression. He can now enjoy outings respectfully, handle real-world situations with a calm mindset, and even have more freedom at home because he’s earned that trust.

We are so proud of the hard work Maverick and his family have put in. This is what true commitment to change looks like. Way to go, Maverick — you’ve come such a long way, and the best is yet to come! 💛🐶

Georgia is here for doggy day camp and working on all the advanced skills over the next 10 days! She’s leveling up her training and doing an awesome job. We love seeing how far she’s come! 🐾🐶🩷

Sylvia is spending the day with us at Doggy Day Camp!

Today, she’s getting her continued introduction to the e-collar in a positive, low-pressure way. We’re focusing on building her understanding and confidence with it, setting a strong foundation for clear communication.

At the same time, we’re also working on addressing her reactivity. We’re helping Sylvia learn how to stay calm and make better choices around her triggers.

She’s already making awesome progress, and we’re so proud of how hard she’s working! Keep it up, Sylvia!
