🌍❤️ Caring across borders: Memorial Cat Hospital brings life-saving care to Honduran communities. In just six days, the Texas-based team treated 3,000+ animals across 24 Honduran villages—bringing vital services where none existed.

🎓 Our PetOne Veterinary Training Center is building tomorrow’s leaders today. Over 25 veterinary students came together at our new Training Center in Chicago to learn, build leadership skills, and connect with fellow future DVMs. As campus representatives for NVA GP, they create awareness for career opportunities and programs within our community.

“Seeing our student reps come together, support one another, and share their journeys was nothing short of inspiring,” said NVA GP Senior Campus Recruiter Kristen Matthews.

50 future vets, 1 unforgettable day! 🩺🐾 We teamed up with Nat Geo’s “Critters Fixers” and AVMA to sponsor a day of learning for 50 aspiring veterinarians.

Led by Critter Fixers Dr Vernard Hodges and Dr. Terrence Ferguson, the "Vet for a Day” workshop invited local D.C. high school and middle school students to learn more about veterinary medicine with hands-on demonstrations including suturing, ultrasound, and CPR.

Our own Dr. Rebecca Reed, Managing DVM at Gunston Animal Hospital, and Bethany Wheaton, veterinary technician at Clocktower Animal Hospital, joined in to give students a firsthand look at a profession where every day offers new opportunities to make a difference for animals and the people who love them.

"At NVA General Practice, we're passionate about inspiring the next generation of veterinary professionals," said Dr. Beth Neuman, Head of Mentorship at NVA General Practice. "Events like 'Vet for a Day' give students a glimpse into our profession and help them discover the rewarding career opportunities in veterinary medicine."

Zachary Animal Center helped Bruh, a Brittany Spaniel with special needs, find his forever home with one of their veterinary interns! 🏠❤️

Bruh was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), which left his back legs paralyzed. When the clients couldn't afford the necessary care and rehabilitation, they chose to surrender him, but the team wanted to give him a second chance. They cared for him until they could find him a forever home and found it with Connor, their summer intern.

“Every animal deserves a chance,” said Brittany Canella, Hospital Manager. “Watching Bruh go from scared and immobile to thriving and rolling around in his wheelchair with light in his eyes, that's why we do what we do!”
