Happy Monday!! I know this page has been very silent for the past few months. Honestly, I have been so busy and could not feasibly handle much more growth without some changes to the business side of things. So that’s what I have been working on over the past few weeks. I want to announce two big changes moving forward that will hopefully stop things from falling through the cracks and help with efficiency so I can have more time helping animals and their owners 🐾

1. I have a new number! Don’t worry, the original business number (276-274-4602) is the same and you can still call this number to set up an appointment. Very important detail though, this number cannot be texted anymore! It will not come through and will spit back a “Not Delivered” message.

I really enjoy being able to communicate with owners directly, including texting and so I do have a separate number dedicated to text and calling me directly. That new number to text (or call) is 276-274-0217. I will work on sending messages throughout the week to people who I primarily communicate through text so you can more easily save my new number.

2. I have a new helper! All of the phone changes are in an effort to hopefully take most of the scheduling and admin tasks off of me and allow me to share them with my new admin assistant, Mackenzie. She will be handling most scheduling items as well as serve as a more consistent point person if you have questions about administrative items such as payment and rabies certificates. You can reach her through calling the main business number (276-274-4602) or via email [email protected].

I am really big on transparency, and while maintaining as much professionalism as possible, we are all people with lots of things going on in our lives. Mackenzie will be working from home with her sweet children and so please allow a business day for responses to voicemails, emails, new patient forms, etc.

Thank you for the grace so many of you have extended me as I have navigated being a business owner and am still learning how to balance all of that with a husband and two small children. If there are any outstanding things that have slipped through the cracks, please let us know so we can work together to rectify them.

I was hesitant to change around phone numbers this weekend, but ultimately I think this is the best way moving forward to make this business sustainable and most effectively serve the animals and people of this community for many years to come. I know your prayers and actions, direct and indirect, have all served to make this so wildly successful. I’m excited to see what is next in store 😉
