Hello Abilene pet owners!

My name is Marie Schoonover, and I’m a retired Special Education teacher turned pet caregiver. I’ve spent more than 30 years rescuing and caring for animals.

I understand that every pet is unique. Some may need extra patience, reassurance, or time to warm up — and that’s okay. I pride myself on being patient, dependable, and committed to making pets feel safe and comfortable in my care.

My goal is to provide the best possible care for your pets while you’re at work, traveling, or away from home. I know firsthand how hard it can be to find someone trustworthy and reliable, especially for pets who are nervous around new people. There were many trips I skipped because I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my own animals, and I want to help others avoid that same worry.
