Good morning, everyone!
I hope everyone had a good winter! Although spring is making its appearance very slowly I thought this would be a good time to chat about our ranch riding get togethers for the 2026 season!
This season I (Allisa) am not going to be able to participate much and I want to put some feelers out there for adding more admins to our page and to help organize our weekly ranch ridings! Also, that way the responsibility is not on one person to manage all season. I always thought it would be great to see this group continue to grow in what it offers for everyone. A few fun ideas I’ve had were a local ranch show, or having clinics that is specific to ranch riding as a couple of examples!
Last year was only our first year and I had a lot of feedback from many who really enjoyed coming to this. We always had between 10-15 people. About half who always came, and half were new! I feel the ranch riding discipline is something many feel like they can relate to, enjoy and can accomplish with their horse. And unlike many other disciplines this is an inviting discipline for horse & rider from most any walk of life. We had such a great group of people who were helpful, and many others who felt comfortable to try something they hadn’t done before. I’d love to see this continue again. If you enjoyed what we did last summer please take some time to think about helping organize it this year for others to enjoy again!
