Wet saddle pads and plenty of miles are important BUT you know what’s more important? VET CARE!

No one can out train pain, nor should they. At RPH we are abundantly lucky to have an excellent team of vets, farriers, chiropractor, equine dentist and trainers in place to ensure your horse is their healthiest!

Ps - don’t forget to thank your vet, trainer, etc…….you have no idea who just pulled an all nighter but still showed up to help you and your horse(s).

☀️Sunshine & Golden Ponies☀️

We have a few new tenants to brag on over the next week or so, here at Rumford Performance Horses!

Chex is a 7 year old quarter horse by Wimpyslittlethriller out of a Peponita mare! This little guy is all that and a bag of chips and he knows it! He came in with his Andalusian buddy, Gucci (we will introduce him soon❤️) the last few days of February and wouldn’t ya know, Chex loooooves to rope!

⭐️ One of the good ones⭐️

There have been a lot of horses come and go through our training program over the years (20+ years to be exact). From PRCA mounts that have helped their riders get to their designated PRCA circuit finals and even the National Finals Rodeo, to high school and college mounts that have earned their kiddos state championships to successful jackpot horses, as well as plain old solid ranch/trail horses. BUT, through all those great ones there are special ones that get to stay.

DoIt is one of the special ones. From 8+ PRCA First Frontierer circuit finals qualifications, 2 NFR Open qualifications and MANY more championships, DoIt has been there for them all. He is one of the most well rounded horses we have ever had, from picking up, chasing out, heading, heeling, roping calves, breakaway and the occasional barrel DoIt does it! He is the one that owes nothing and the forever c**t that will get to live out his days doing what he loves!

Cheers to the special ones. They don’t often get enough thank you’s and our lives would never be the same without them.

It’s Valentine’s Day but we didnt just start there, all week the critters have been getting spoiled!

Lane here can’t get enough of his PEMF treatment! That licking and nasal drainage = the happiest horse!

We are thrilled to be able to offer this service to our equine athletes here at Rumford Performance Horses! Haulins and barn visits are welcome to be scheduled and of course you know we offer this service to all board/training horses as well❤️

🤩 What a Weekend 🤩

What a great weekend to get out after the cold and enjoy great company and win a little money. The barrel horses got to stretch their legs and the calf horses got to get behind some calves and do work!

We have a few training spots left for the winter for barrel horses, rope horses, tune ups and c**ts.

Also, don’t forget we have plenty of time slots for PEMF sessions. We are able to travel, as well as accommodate haul ins.
