Venus Doggess Of Love needs to raise money to:
1. Pay for the spay/neuter clinic we had on 13 - 15 Sept 2024 (i.e. $30,000TT) after an unfortunate 'sponsor-gone-bad' experience. At that clinic Dr Deonanan spayed/neutered 80 animals in a weekend. We thank him for his exceptional talent, service and patience (as we raise the funds).

2. Cover ongoing animal rescue/welfare-related bills (veterinary and otherwise).

1️⃣ Create a Safe Space: Set up a quiet, secure area where your pet feels comfortable, away from the noise.

2️⃣ Distract with Sounds: Play calming music or turn on the TV to drown out the noise of fireworks.

3️⃣ Keep Them Indoors: Ensure all windows and doors are closed to prevent your pet from escaping in fear.

4️⃣ Comfort Them: Stay close to reassure your pet or provide their favorite toy/blanket for comfort.

5️⃣ Use Calming Aids: Consider pet-safe calming sprays, diffusers, or a snug-fitting anxiety wrap like a ThunderShirt.

6️⃣ Consult Your Vet: If your pet gets extremely anxious, talk to your vet about sedatives or other anti-anxiety solutions.

7️⃣ Avoid Firework Exposure: Don’t take your pets to fireworks displays or leave them unattended outdoors.

8️⃣ Stay Calm: Pets pick up on your energy—remain relaxed and composed.

9️⃣ Update Identification: Make sure your pet’s ID tags and microchip information are up to date, just in case.
